Register to be a Co-Researcher

We are seeking primary and secondary young people (aged 7-14) to participate in the Empowering Young People to Engage with Mt Tamborine Landcare Reserves research project as co-researchers.

The next research training workshops are happening in Term 2, 2019, at the Vonda Youngman Community Centre, Tamborine Mountain.

Following the full-day training workshop (with highly experienced researchers and registered teachers), co-researchers will be provided with a 'Lenovo Tablet' and 'art materials' (for the full duration of the project) to research young people's awareness of, attitudes towards and participation in Mt Tamborine Landcare reserves.

Following the research phase, co-researchers will also be given the opportunity to co-design resources to increase children and young people's awareness of and participation in Mt Tamborine Landcare reserve sites as part of their everyday neighbourhoods.

If this sounds like something you would like to do, please discuss it with your parent/guardian and return all completed forms to youth4landcare@scu.edu.au.

Please also indicate if you will be attending the workshop in Term 2, 2019, or would like to be provided with workshops dates/times once available.

This project is supported by Southern Cross University, through funding from the Australian Government's National Landcare Program.
